Yay, my first upload. Also, first alog I have ever done. I tried to find a good, free, online resource which had a *good* tutorial on learning Maori. I haven't succeeded so far. If you've found/assembled a good resource, let me know - no video tutorials thanks.

These are some of the dear children of the Manjushree Orphanage. Manjushree was founded in 1998 by Lama Thupten Phuntsok, to provide a happy, healthy home as well as free education to many of the orphans and other needy children in the Tawang region in the high Himalayas of Northeast India. Manjushree started with 17 orphans with three resident-teachers in the year 1998, and now serves over 150 children with18 staff members. The vision of Manjushree Orphanage is: To provide a home and close-knit, loving family for orphans, and for physically disabled or destitute children of the Tawang district. To provide a modern education and impart values of compassion. To inspire the children to act with a good heart, to become leaders in their communities and to help bring peace to the world.

The cost was way too high for the shortness of the book, and a lot of those pages were given over to humor when I would have preferred more solid information for my Kindle. Since buying this I've learned that the author has a "business" style book for the Kindle that might have been a better match for me, but I don't want to have to risk another $9.60 to find out.

Customer Review: This is such a wonderful book. It is very thoughtful, respectful and kid friendly. The book spells out very clearly how to "join in and play." There is a wonderful teacher/parent guide in the back with activities for children to practice on how to make friends. The book is very well written and the illustrations are so dynamic. You can really tell how the children are feeling in the book by their facial expressions. (My only caveat is that the illustrator wasn't given credit on the byline. I don't know how the publisher go away with this but it is an egregious error in my perspective.) All the books in the series are wonderful! My daughter reads them over and over again.
