High School Musical 2 You are the Music in me
by rss@youtube.com (MusiqueMp3)
4 Jul 2008 at 6:05pm

High School Musical 2 soundtrack Track 4 Lyrics: Na na na na Na na na na yeah You are the music in me You know the words "Once Upon A Time" Make you listen? There's a reason. When you dream there's a chance you'll find A little laughter or happy ever after your harmony to the melody It's echoing inside my head A single voice (Single voice) Above the noise And like a common thread Hmm, you're pulling me When I hear my favorite song I know that we belong Oh, you are the music in me Yeah it's living in all of us And it's brought us here because Because you are the music in me Na na na na (Ohh) Na na na na na Yeah yeah yeah (Na na na na) You are the music in me It's like I knew you before we met (Before we met) Can't explain it (Ohh ohh) There's no name for it (No name for it) I'm saying words I never said And it was easy (So easy) Because you see the real me (I see) As I am You understand And that's more than I've ever known To hear your voice (Hear your voice) Above the noise (Ohh ohh) And no, I'm not alone Oh you're singing to me (Ohh yeah) When I hear my favorite song I know that we belong (Yeah ohh) You are the music in me It's living in all of us And it's brought us here because You are the music in me Together we're gonna sing (Yeah) We got the power to sing what we feel (What we feel) Connected and real Can't keep it all inside (Ohh) Na na na na (Ohh yeah) Na na na na na (Ohh yeah) Yeah yeah yeah (Na na na na) You are the music in me (In me) Na na na na (Ohh yeah) Na na na na na (Ohh yeah) Na na na na You are the music in me When I hear my favorite song (Favorite song) I know that we belong (We belong) You are the music in me Yeah it's living in all of us It's brought us here because (Here because) You are the music in me Na na na na (Ohh yeah) Na na na na (Ohh yeah) Na na na na You are the music in me (Yeah)

Twilight (The Twilight Saga, Book 1)
by Stephenie Meyer
Amazon Price: $6.04
Customer Review: I read the first part of this novel 4 days ago and I've already forgotten the plot and storyline for most of the book. That just gives you an idea of how awful I thought it was. And then I remembered who the intended audience for this book was - young teens and so I gave this book 2 stars instead of one. The characters, from Bella to Edward are shallow and empty. They lack the richness of some other similarly themed books I've read. Don't expect to find anything on the level of Anne Rice here, because her writing in this book is very generic and formulaic as far as vampire romance novels go and I feel Twilight has been done in similar fashion zillions of times over. I was looking for fresh perspective on vampire romances and would have been satisfied with just a great set of characters but instead I just came up bored and yawning after a few hours of reading. I really did feel like everything i read was predictable. I really don't understand why so many people like this series.

Three Cups of Tea: One Man's Mission to Promote Peace . . . One School at a Time
by Greg Mortenson, David Oliver Relin
Amazon Price: $8.25
Customer Review: Okay, so the writing ain't supoib, but hey, you gotta see the forest through the trees. This is an important book that should be required reading for everyone, as someone in these reviews said, who is educated or uneducated. Who reads or doesn't read. I've chosen to give copies as door prizes at my talks on volunteering overseas. (CAI doesn't take volunteers, sorry.) Yes, "the defenseless sky" and other such phrases cause little bumps in the readers' road, but the story transcends all this surface noise. Greg can easily find a different writer next time, but please let the story continue. And be careful, Greg!

New Moon (The Twilight Saga, Book 2)
by Stephenie Meyer
Amazon Price: $11.99
Customer Review: I liked the first book in the series (Twilight) and as soon as I finished it I went out and bought New Moon. It was immensely disappointing. Bella is incredibly boring, apathetic and acts like a brat through the entire book. The Jacob Black plot was SO obvious, no person with half an iota of intelligence would have taken as long as Bella to figure out. I just wanted to get to the end so it would be over, not because I much cared what happened to her or Edward. Can't say I like a character that spends an entire novel moping and takes a guy back the first chance she gets even though he treated her like dirt (for her own good, of course...so stupid). I won't bother wasting my money on the third book. I may get it from the library. Just how many books are supposed to be in this "Saga"? I do hope Meyer has planned and plotted a solid storyline for future books with a good beginning, middle and end. This one was clearly a mess with horrible pacing, repetitive writing and no plot.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Book 7) (Deluxe Edition)
by J. K. Rowling
Amazon Price: $65.00
Customer Review: Okay ... I don't know what more could be said about this book ... good, bad or otherwise ... but here's my 2 cents worth:

I'm a grandmother, avid reader of all kinds of books. My son gave me the first 4 HP books for Christmas a few years back. My immediate reaction was "ick .. children's books .. did you make a boo-boo?" However, I read them (knowing nothing about HP) and was absolutely delighted. They took me to that place all favorite books do. I was drawn in to the story; the characters became a part of me; and I just had to see how it all turned out. So, there's the history.

I thought JK was spot-on with this book. She tied up all the loose ends, let us see most of our favorite characters again, one last time, and gave us an ending that tied in all of the hints and bits and pieces that came with the first 6 books. IMHO, it was brilliant.

My only objection ... I would have loved one more chapter .. after Harry wonders if Kreacher would bring him a sandwich. I would have loved to see the immediate reactions of the Weasleys (especially Ginny), the Hogwart's teachers, the remaining OotP members, etc. But I'm glad she did the 16 years later chapter. It will have to be enough.

Thank you for a great ride Harry!

Fahrenheit 451
by Ray Bradbury
Amazon Price: $6.99
Customer Review: I am sad to say I had not read this book till age 27. What was wrong with my high school? No Bell Jar, no 451?

*Anyway* fascinating read and crazy to think that books may be obsolete in the future, quite sad, since I'm an avid reader. The premise of the story is about a fireman who knows nothing else but his job and what life is like now, until he meets a young "strange" girl who discusses actual real life with him. After that, Montag starts to wonder things outside the realm of what he always knew and starts to question his job and the purpose of burning books. He ends up rebelling and fighting for the cause.

If you liked 1984, this book is similar is some aspects (to me at least). The sad bleak future that these authors dreamed up with the loss of individualism and the control of telescreens/televisions everywhere with lack of intellect.

Kaplan GRE Exam 2009 Premier Program (w/ CD-ROM) (Kaplan Gre Exam (Book & CD-...
by Kaplan
Amazon Price: $21.00
Customer Review: I have only had this product for a few weeks, but I have already discovered some criticisms.

One major criticism is the CD-ROM seems dated. The disc lists "version 1.0" and you can tell that the disc is 1.0. The copyright on the program is 2004! While the sample tests appear to simulate the test environment very well they don't contain the any of the fill in the blank questions that have been added to the GRE. While they aren't a big part of the exam you would figure that if this is the "2009" edition of this book that the CD would fully prepare you for the test that students taking the exam in 2008 might take.

Needless to say this disc doesn't seem to work properly under Windows Vista much like the feedback I read on last years' edition. I bought the 2009 edition figuring that they would have updated the CD for this years' book, but apparently not. Having neither a Mac version nor a Windows version that works in Vista seems pretty pathetic. I have been using the inside of a virtual machine(VMware) and it seems to run OK. I will give an update if I discover any means by which the software will run under Vista properly.

After you remove the background information on the GRE, and the chapter on applying to grad school, and the advertising for Kaplan's courses the number of pages of actual prep drops below 400 pages, albeit most competing books are approximately the same length. There are entire books written on applying to grad school if I really wanted a book for that, but nevertheless I will admit that the book seems incredibly informative.

As far as I can tell there is no compelling improvements in this book over the previous edition. The book could obviously have more problem sets, but so far I haven't seen any obvious mistakes in the book like I have seen in test prep books for the SAT or other exams. The book could be better, but I don't see any clear flaws in the book so far.

Nineteen Minutes
by Jodi Picoult
Amazon Price: $10.20
Customer Review: A fast and gripping read, Nineteen Minutes is a good book for Book Clubs. It touches on a number of issues facing children today, including bullying, school violence, and physical abuse. Some of the book's characters are developed and flushed out so well, that readers will find themselves sympathic to those characters they never thought they would be.

If your Book Club has fallen into a routine of stale discussions, Nineteen Minutes is sure to end the monotony.

To Kill a Mockingbird
by Harper Lee
Amazon Price: $7.99
Customer Review: Must have been the times in which it was first released because this book did nothing for me. I just don't get why people rave about this book. This is one of those rare cases where you should watch the movie and forget the book.

The Mysterious Benedict Society
by Trenton Lee Stewart
Amazon Price: $6.99
Customer Review: When I first started reading the first few chapters I wasn't sure I was going to like the book. I felt it had a bit of a slow start and it took sometime for me to bond with the main character, Reynie Muldoon. After sticking to my rule, which is to read the first 100 pages before putting a book down, I started to be drawn into the storyline. The Mysterious Benedict Society is about a bund of children who have either been orphaned, abandoned, or have run away from home. A man named Mr. Benedict has setup some tests to find gifted children among this groups of children. In which case he does and this is how Reynie Muldoon, Kate Wetherall, Sticky Washington, and Constance Contraire become the four members of The Mysterious Benedict Society.

What I do like about this book is it caters to reluctant readers. Boys and girls alike can relate to the story. These four friends find out through out the book, along with the reader, is children are an important part of our lives. Sometimes children can solve problems most adults can't see at the end of their nose. This four brainy, witty, and adventurous children set out to save the world from a mad man named Mr. Curtain. They must become spies at Mr. Curtain's institute, send secret messages, and work their way up to becoming Messengers so they can learn Mr. Curtain's secrets and stop him before its too late.

The action really gets going once the children arrive at the institute which is almost half way through the book, but it's well worth the wait. Also, readers will enjoy the child like humor and gross descriptions throughout the story.

Now here's what a young book review had to say:

The Mysterious Benedict Society Book Review
By: Carson King, Young Book Reviewer

I chose my book, The Mysterious Benedict Society, because it sounded like my type of book, a half-fantasy. It is a flawless story about four orphans, Kate, Reynie, Sticky, and Constance. In the beginning, they take a series of tests. All do well and make it into the Mysterious Benedict Society. They are sent on a mission to stop the founder of a mysterious school, (Mr. Benedict's brother, Mr. Ledorptha Curtain), from destroying the whole human race. The group, though best of friends, go through many ups and downs during their mission. The book ends in a whirlwind, and you find yourself content.

I loved it because of the way the author portrayed it and I felt I was ...
