When two high school girls, Daniella and Krista, find themselves working on a School Science Project about UFOs, they soon realize that they may be in a little over their heads. After family problems and an over-obsessive personality mislead Daniella to thinking that she must experience a UFO in order to get a good grade, this project soon threatens to tear apart her friendships, family, and even her very own life.

Customer Review: i decided to read this book because there has been so much hype surrounding it. it was alright, nothing more nothing less.
i think that i would enjoy the story a lot more if i understood why bella and edward were attracted to each other emotionally. she thinks he's hot and he wants her blood, but i just didn't feel anything else from them. why did they fall in love? i felt like i missed 5 chapters of build up or something cause they had a few conversations, he ignored her for a month, then all of a sudden they were in love.
this book took me awhile to read because there was no real plot other than the love story until the last 100 pages or so. the end i enjoyed a lot more. i really liked the character james and the "action" part of the ending.
i enjoy a good love story, but i just do not think this one was well written. there were too many cheesy lines and i just didn't feel their connection.
i did enjoy jacob, he is a three dimensional character, and i really felt a spark between him and bella. i really liked bella's father charlie and the other cullens. i loved alice and jasper the most. carlisle was a great character too. i just wish there could have been more of the other cullens in the book and less descriptions of edward's beautiful face and body. i get it, he's hot.
i am going to give 'new moon' a shot because i'm hoping that they story will get better. but if i don't enjoy, i'll just end my twilight experience there.

Customer Review: As pleased as I was displeased, the new era for a fact has been less provacative and stunning as to now. The month's anticipation was downed by the over-used plot and the downgraded promiscuous actions that I used to love about Gossip Girl. Although it does show depth and drama, the characters feel like a tangled mess or shallow-based characters with no relevance to the city itself. As it seems that the plot has been repeated, so has the interaction with the characters! I am overwhelmed with the nonexistant drama, scandal, and sex appeal. Maybe my opinion has been affected by the hit show itself, but I remember more steamy and discriptive one-night stands wiht jealous pledges following. But the queens of the upper east side should be ashamed, there needs to be more. More of everything and more of anything. These characters deserve more that they are getting. Let the Miu Miu kitten heel ring that the gossip can get jucier than this.

Customer Review: i had to read this book twice because i was so surprised by how good it was. i dont usually relate to the characters that i read books from, but it was like i was reading about my own life and my own feelings. this book is one of those books that will stay with you years from now.
this fantastic novel is about a girl named deena, who gets caught having sex with a boy, by her father...now if that doesnt make you want to read the book i dont know what will..lol. anyways, 3 years later her father still cant look at her, everyone at school has their own version about what happened and refer to her as "the school slut", and on top of it all, shes just trying to find herself and move on but cant, because no one will let her forget about her past.
in the summer she finds a job, only to find out that the other person working there is none other than the guy she slept with, and also who spread rumors about her.
this book is full of drama and sitting on the edge of the seat kind of book...well for me atleast. you never know whats going to happen.
this book has really taught me a lot. it taught me that you cant always care about what people think because you cant make everyone happy, and not everyone is going to like you.
this is why i love reading books, it teaches you something and takes you away. if theres a book that deserves more than 5 stars, than this is it.

S is back from boarding school. Her hair is longer, paler. Her blue eyes have that deep mysteriousness of kept secrets...If we aren't careful, S is going to win our teachers, wear that dress we couldn't fit into, eat the last olive, spill Campari on our rugs, Steal our brothers' and boyfriends' hearts, and basically ruin our lives in a major way.
Gossip Girl is filled with gossip, scandal, jealousy, and betrayal.
It's a very engrossing book. Once you enter, it's hard to extract yourself

Customer Review: I bought this book when my daughter faced some serious lags in starting the school year--3 days into a new school and 6th grade, and she was out from an appendectomy. I knew we'd have to do some serious instruction at home to keep her up to speed. Because our math text book is so unfriendly, the teacher recommended another reference, but this popped up on the Amazon suggestions. The positive reviews grabbed my interest, and when the book came I found that I actually wanted to read it! It has come in very handy during teary episodes of "I don't know how to do this"--it covers all those topics we once learned, but forgot, and makes it very fast and easy to re-learn (for parents) and learn (for kids). I would have liked Nate and Serena to get together but such is life and I am glad Nate went off rather then choosing Blair. You definately felt complete when reading this. Customer Review: It's been several years since Serena van der Woodsen, Blair Waldorf, and all of their a-list (or wannabe a-list) pals burst onto the scene. Since then, Gossip Girl has basically been credited for spawning the entire young socialite/it girl/prep school explosion that's come out of the last few years including many-a-copycat book series and several TV shows to boot, including our very own Gossip Girl.
As the series comes to a close (to be replaced by Gossip Girl 2.0 that follows a group of triplets), Cecily Von Zeigesar picks up the pen one last time to write about how it all began for our favourite Upper East Siders. There isn't much by way of plot other than explaining a lot of the future plotlines we love and loathe, but the crux of the story probably comes from Serena, Nate, and Blair being BFFs until the two girls realize they're both jonesin' for the same boy. Of course the usual minor characters are in play - Chuck, Isabel, Kati, Jenny, Dan, and Vanessa - but their storylines are even thinner than what the main trio are going through.
I enjoyed this book because I haven't been into the GG series for several years now, but going back to the beginning like this was a delightful surprise as key traits and quirks for each character popped up as part of their character histories. Additionally, because the purpose of the book was to explain the characters future motivations and personalities, they were written as much more logical, reasonable, grounded, and most importantly relatable. The uber-flightiness we see in the later books isn't quite as prominent here, and it works.
That being said, having mostly only been exposed to the TV series over the last year, it was weird to go back and see the less glamorous (if you can believe it) portrayals of many of the characters - in particular the Humphrey family - as well as the juxtaposition between how the characters' relationships on the show compare to those in future books (i.e. Dan & Serena, Chuck & Blair).
Ultimately I'd say this is a great must-read for any Gossip Girl fan, whether lapsed or obsessed. Don't be expecting the book series - as the kids are quite a bit younger here and fairly less insane - but don't be expecting the TV series either. A great ending/beginning for the original young socialite series.
